This HiLook IP CCTV kit includes two 8MP 4K 2.8mm Smart Hybrid Light cameras, one HiLook NVR-104MH-C/4P(E) four-channel PoE network video recorder, one 2TB surveillance hard drive, two DM8 camera brackets, two 15m network cables and one FREE monitor. The two-camera configuration uses two of the recorder's four IP camera channels, leaving two channels available for compatible future expansion. Designed for home, retail, office and small-business surveillance, the system combines high-resolution video, intelligent supplementary lighting, two-way camera audio, active visual and audible warning features and straightforward PoE connectivity.

What Is Included in This CCTV Kit?

8MP 4K CCTV Image Quality

Both cameras provide high-resolution 8MP imaging at up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. This 4K-class resolution is designed to retain useful visual detail across entrances, driveways, gardens, reception areas, shop floors, offices and other monitored locations.

Higher image resolution can be particularly useful where customers want greater detail than lower-resolution CCTV systems can provide. Final identification performance still depends on factors including camera position, target distance, mounting height, lighting and scene conditions.

2.8mm Wide-Angle Lens

Each camera uses a 2.8mm lens, providing a broad view suited to general property surveillance. A wider lens is useful where customers want to see more of an entrance, room, driveway, garden or customer area from a single camera position.

Correct camera placement remains important. Wide-angle cameras cover a larger scene, but subjects farther from the camera naturally occupy fewer image pixels than close subjects.

Smart Hybrid Light Technology

The cameras use Smart Hybrid Light and Smart Supplement Light technology to provide more flexible night-time surveillance than basic infrared-only designs. The lighting system can adapt supplementary illumination according to the camera's operating mode and security requirements.

This is useful around entrances, driveways, loading areas, gardens and other locations where customers may want intelligent lighting behaviour rather than continuous visible illumination.

Clear Images in Difficult Backlighting

The supplied camera specification includes 130 dB Wide Dynamic Range technology. WDR helps the camera manage scenes containing both bright and darker areas, such as entrances with daylight behind a person, shop doorways, windows or vehicle access points.

This helps retain useful image information where ordinary cameras may otherwise produce an overexposed bright area or an excessively dark foreground.

Built-In Microphone and Speaker

Each camera includes both a built-in microphone and speaker. This allows supported real-time two-way audio functionality directly through the camera.

Two-way communication can be useful around entrances, gates, reception areas or other locations where the user may need to hear and speak through the surveillance system.

The included HiLook NVR-104MH-C/4P(E) is a four-channel 4K PoE network video recorder. It supports up to four IP camera inputs and provides four integrated PoE interfaces for compatible network cameras.

Two of the four NVR channels are used by this kit, leaving two channels available for compatible future camera expansion.

The recorder supports recording resolutions up to 8MP and video compression including H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264. Its incoming network bandwidth is up to 40 Mbps, with outgoing bandwidth up to 80 Mbps.

Simple PoE Camera Connection

The supplied cameras support PoE as well as 12V DC power. When connected to compatible NVR PoE interfaces, a suitable network cable can carry camera data and electrical power through the same connection.

This kit includes two 15m network cables, providing one cable for each supplied camera. Actual cable routes should be checked before installation to confirm that the included 15m lengths are suitable for the property.

2TB Surveillance Hard Drive Included

This kit includes a 2TB surveillance hard drive for CCTV recording. The NVR has one SATA hard-drive interface and supports compatible storage capacities up to 8TB.

The exact number of recording days available from the included 2TB drive depends on camera bitrate, frame rate, compression settings, continuous or event recording, scene complexity and the amount of activity detected.

A fixed recording duration should therefore not be guaranteed without calculating storage using the actual recording settings.

On-Camera Storage Support

In addition to recording through the NVR, the supplied camera specification supports onboard microSD storage up to 512GB. A microSD card is not included unless specifically stated separately.

On-camera storage can provide an additional recording option depending on how the system is configured.

FREE Monitor Included

A monitor is included FREE with this CCTV kit. This gives the system a local display for viewing cameras, accessing recordings and operating the recorder without requiring the customer to purchase a monitor separately.

The HiLook NVR provides HDMI and VGA display connections. Its HDMI output supports resolutions up to 4K when used with suitable display equipment and settings.

Mobile Viewing with HiLook and Hik-Connect

The camera specification supports mobile monitoring through HiLook and Hik-Connect applications. The NVR also supports Hik-Connect networking for compatible remote viewing and system access.

Remote viewing requires suitable broadband or network connectivity, correct device configuration, account setup and appropriate security settings.

Two Spare NVR Channels

The supplied recorder has four IP camera channels. The two included cameras use two channels, leaving two available for compatible future cameras.
